Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Corilen, operated by AppSynth (“we”, “us”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites and software-as-a-service platform (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

  • Account data — name, email, password (hashed), workspace membership, and role preferences.
  • Workspace content — projects, tasks, time entries, clients, financial records, messages, and files you choose to store in Corilen.
  • Optional time evidence — screenshot capture is off unless a workspace admin turns it on. When enabled, it is used only as compliance evidence for tracked time. Members can see when capture is active. Corilen is not employee-monitoring or spyware software.
  • Usage and device data — logs, IP address, browser type, and approximate location derived from IP for security and reliability.
  • Billing data — subscription status, seat counts, invoices, and payment events. Card details for paid plans are processed by our Merchant of Record (Paddle) and are not stored by Corilen.

2. How we use information

  • to provide, secure, and improve the Service;
  • to authenticate users and manage workspaces;
  • to process subscriptions and communicate billing status;
  • to send product and support messages you request;
  • to comply with law and enforce our Terms.

3. Sharing

We share information with:

  • Service providers that host infrastructure, email, and analytics under contracts that limit use of personal data;
  • Paddle.com as Merchant of Record for paid checkout, tax, and payment processing;
  • authorities when required by law;
  • a successor entity if we are involved in a merger or acquisition.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Organization responsibility

When Corilen is used by an employer or client organization, that organization is typically the controller of workspace member data. Admins must configure optional screenshot and activity features lawfully, including providing notice and obtaining consent where required. Screenshot capture is never on by default.

5. Retention

We retain account and workspace data while your workspace is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, disputes, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of personal account data subject to organization ownership and legal holds.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit, access controls, and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. International transfers

We may process data in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact support@mail.corilen.com to make a request. Organization-owned workspace data may require admin involvement.

9. Children

Corilen is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy by posting a new version on this page with an updated date.
